Find the best Tinkerbell Halloween Costumes and Accessories
The adventures of Neverland have been spoken about severally and some Halloween ideas have erupted from them. Among them are the Peter Pan and Captain Hook Costumes. But in all fairness these are more inclined to suit the boys and the men. For the girls and ladies, the costume left is that of Tinkerbell. In the story, Tinkerbelle was a fairy and the costume too has to be fairy-looking, and in all dimensions too. Getting the color right is the first task with the costume. But in most cases, a light shade of green is usually the choice.

It’s really hard to put a finger on the exact design of the dress, especially since the variations are many. But the general rule is that it should adopt the right shade of green, and be thigh high. With that you have all the freedom especially as far as making your own is concerned. But in most cases, young girls prefer the princess-like short dress with some sparkle of green on it. For adult costumes, the preferences usually designate the tattered costumes as those picked out the most. And as far as sexy goes, the tattered design does manage to achieve it.

Success with the Tinkerbell costume is not limited with the kind of dress but with the kind of accessories that go with the dress as well. First off are the wings. These usually come detachable and in a variety of designs. You have to pick the wing design (that is if it already doesn’t come with your dress) that matches closest to the overall outlook of your dress. They also come in different sizes, but the general rule is, you should get those that are elevated and can be seen over your shoulders. They should not be too high and the best are the broad kind, instead of the narrow and tall varieties.

The second is the tiara which is a necessity in the kid Tinkerbell costume but not really in the adult one. It should come adorned with jewels and green, as the color of your dress. Picking one out can be considered a challenge especially when it does not come with the dress though that rarely happens. The next accessory is the pair of shoes. Flats work well and they could be anywhere from green to white. There are not too many limitations here. In the adult Tinkerbelle costume, you are allowed to go wild and get the heels that you want, though the color should work out with the dress.

Last but definitely not least is the wand. The fairy look is not complete without the wand. It has to come adorned as well like the tiara. It works best when the design replicates a butterfly, and for fun, has a lighting function so that you can have some of the lighting action in the dark. If you happen to live in a cold environment (or you generally want to add more fun to your costume), you should add on some leggings which work well with the costume especially when they are white or a light shade of green.
